I have a ways to go before I call it a career. Still, it will be hard to top what I’ve been a part of in regards to telling The Pfister’s story. I’m very proud of the work, and the team that created it.
We recently learned that The Pfister: History & Story, a documentary produced for The Pfister Hotel’s 120th anniversary in 2013, has been recognized with an Emmy® nomination. The results will be announced Saturday, Nov. 1. You can read more about the award and the documentary here.
The documentary was done in conjunction with the coffee table book released earlier, “The History, Art and Images of The Pfister Hotel.”
The book, by the way, has received a few accolades of its own.
Congratulations to all who played a role in the book and documentary, including producers Deb Zindler and Cory Zimmermann, both of z2 based in Waukesha, Wis. The documentary took more than six months of research, interviews, filming, writing and editing to complete.
Both the book and the documentary prove that telling your story on a grand scale has its rewards.
